What we do

CT Timber joinery design and manufacture all types of solid timber joinery. Primarily we build doors, windows, sliders, and bi-folds. We can manufacture specialty bespoke front doors, stairs, rails or any number of intricate timber designs.

Project Management

CT Joinery have a team of qualified project managers who can help guide you through your joinery choices. All project managers have timber joinery backgrounds, and decades of experience.

Quoting

Our in-house estimator can provide a quotation based on overall height and width of your windows/door needs, glazing type (single or double) and style of product. We can walk you through your choices, or if preferred you can find a specialised design online and we can provide an estimate based on the images.

Site Measure

Once you are happy with the quotation, if you wish to proceed, we will send a project manager to site to perform a site measure and finalise the details. From this measure we will produce manufacturing drawings and issue them to the factory floor for production.

Material Options

CT Joinery can manufacture joinery using your choice of timber product, to a clear or paint quality finish. As standard, CT utilise Western Red Cedar for our door leaf and window sashes, due to its inherent stability. Our timber fames are manufactured utilising finger jointed pine.

Finish

If you have chosen to paint the joinery once installed, CT will apply a sealant to the end grain and pre-prime the product before delivery. This will allow some protection from moisture ingress while awaiting installation and the final paint coats to be applied by you or your team.

Standards and Compliance

All joinery will be designed and built to the current NZS4211 standard, and a producer statement will be supplied if required for council consent.

CT will calculate external joinery strength based on the wind zone of your project’s location, and ensure that it is fit for purpose.

Glazing

CT Timber joinery have an on-site glazer who can measure and install your choice of glass, either in factory (if the product is small enough) or onsite once installed.  As standard, CT recommend:

  • Single Glazing 6.38mm laminated
  • Double Glazing 4mm toughened either side with a 12mm spacer
